When looking for an all-in-one addons platform for streaming free open source media content, itâs really hard to find better than Kodi. Kodi consolidates all of your digital entertainment into a user-friendly, highly customizable media hub that is 100% free. Kodi boasts quite a few add-ons as seen at https://www.kodiaddonz.com/ but for this article, Iâd like to set our sites on Navi-X.
What is Navi-X?
Navi-X offers free online media content in the form of an add-on for use with Kodi. Possibly the most popular Kodi add-on, Navi-X provides its users with an abundantly large database from which to pull videos, streams, and other forms of media. Live TV, sporting events, your favorite episodes of your favorite shows, all available at your fingertips. Sound like a worthwhile Kodi add-on that youâd be interested in? Well then, allow me to be your guide.
Prior to Installation
In order to install any third party add-ons for Kodi 17 Krypton, youâll have to make sure that the Unknown Sources box has been checked.
Now that Unknown sources has been turned on you will be able to download add-ons such as Exodus, Phoenix, and of course, Navi-X.
Navi-X Installation for Kodi Krypton Version 17.6 or Lower
The steps are rather simple and straightforward:
Kodil Repo
Fusion
Regardless of which link was chosen, head back to the Main Menu and located in the Program Add-ons, youâll now see Navi-X available for use.
Navi-X Installation for Kodi Jarvis Version 16 or Higher
The only major difference when attempting to download Navi-X for Jarvis over Krypton is the layout of the main menu. Instead of being on the left side of the screen, the Jarvis main menu is situated at the bottom. All else when it comes to the downloading and use of Navi-X remains the same for both.
Potential Issues with Navi-X
Navi-X can unexpectedly stop working. Needless to say, this can be a bit of an annoyance. Having any previous versions of Kodi or Navi-X already installed can be the culprit. Ensure that you have only the latest versions of both Kodi and Navi-X properly installed in order to resolve this potential error. The uninstall/reinstall method can help if the newest versions are giving you this same issue.

Good Morning Guys and Girls a sad day on the third party kodi scene as Navi X Closes its doors â Kodi addon. One of the oldest addons that dates back to the original Xbox days.
They decided to close it doors for good. We take a look at the reasons why.
A sad day indeed one of Kodiâs oldest third party addon has closed down. The addon has been in a downward spiral for a long time and i have not used it myself for over a year and half. However you never like to see things disappear. I know a lot of people still used it on a daily basis. Its part of the furniture and an institution in its own right.
Big thank to the dev Rodejo who created it it the first place and the devs that have tirelessly worked on it since development days.
This is what TvAddons had to say about the reasons of closing it.
Every good thing must come to an end. After ten years of successful operation, Navi-X has sadly being discontinued. Navi-X was first released in April 2007, and is the oldest Kodi addon of its kind. There are a few reasons why we made the decision to close Navi-X. We Hope that the hundreds of thousands of people who still used Navi-X daily will understand why. It was best to discontinue Navi-X while it was still on top.
Navi X Access Denied Download
The main reason why the decision was made to discontinue the Navi-X service is the current legal climate surrounding Kodi.
In case you arenât aware, the abundance of preloaded Kodi box sellers has resulted in a lot of heat on Kodi in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. Itâs unfortunate, because the people who are bringing the heat have nothing to do with the Kodi community. Anyway, theyâre just leeches trying to profit from the hard work of Kodi developers. Nevertheless, hosting Navi-X playlists is no longer something we feel comfortable doing due to the potential liability that comes with it.
Another reason
Furthermore, Navi-X had slowly become overrun with people trying to make a quick buck. Many were using it as an easy way to advertise their paid IPTV services to our users. This is something weâve always been strongly against. We also had found that a lot of adult content was improperly labelled, which is a pretty big problem. We tried to moderate the database. There was just too much content, no one had the time to watch thousands of videos to remove ads and distasteful content.
On a high note, Navi-X was not shut down by anyone, the decision to close it was voluntary. At this point, weâd like to thank those who worked so hard on developing Navi-X, starting with rodejo16 and turner3d, and in more recent times Blazetamer and crzen. Weâd also like to recognize all the dedicated playlisters, who we invite to get in touch with us if they are interested in releasing their own addons sometime in the near future. Last but not least, thank you to all the users for your continuous support of our community!

You can store and access non-essential data on an optional microSD card, especially on low-cost mobile devices that have limited internal storage and have a slot for an SD card.
In most cases, you have to specify the removableStorage capability in the app manifest file before your app can store and access files on the SD card. Typically you also have to register to handle the type of files that your app stores and accesses.
You can store and access files on the optional SD card by using the following methods:
What you can and can't access on the SD cardWhat you can access
What you can't access
Security and privacy considerations
When an app saves files in a global location on the SD card, those files are not encrypted so they are typically accessible to other apps.
When an app installed on the SD card saves files in its LocalFolder, however, those files are encrypted and are not accessible to other apps.
Requirements for accessing files on the SD card
To access files on the SD card, typically you have to specify the following things.
Use the preceding method also to access media files on the SD card without referencing a known folder like KnownFolders.MusicLibrary, or to access media files that are stored outside of the media library folders.
To access media files stored in the media librariesâMusic, Photos, or Videosâby using known folders, you only have to specify the associated capability in the app manifest fileâmusicLibrary, picturesLibrary, or videoLibrary. You do not have to specify the removableStorage capability. For more info, see Files and folders in the Music, Pictures, and Videos libraries.
Navi X Access Denied For Windows 10Accessing files on the SD cardGetting a reference to the SD card
The KnownFolders.RemovableDevices folder is the logical root StorageFolder for the set of removable devices currently connected to the device. If an SD card is present, the first (and only) StorageFolder underneath the KnownFolders.RemovableDevices folder represents the SD card.
Use code like the following to determine whether an SD card is present and to get a reference to it as a StorageFolder.
Note
If your SD card reader is an embedded reader (e.g., a slot in the laptop or PC itself), it may not be accessible through KnownFolders.RemovableDevices.
Querying the contents of the SD card
The SD card can contain many folders and files that aren't recognized as known folders and can't be queried by using a location from KnownFolders. To find files, your app has to enumerate the contents of the card by traversing the file system recursively. Use GetFilesAsync (CommonFileQuery.DefaultQuery) and GetFoldersAsync (CommonFolderQuery.DefaultQuery) to get the contents of the SD card efficiently.
We recommend that you use a background thread to traverse the SD card. An SD card may contain many gigabytes of data.
Your app can also require the user to choose specific folders by using the folder picker.
When you access the file system on the SD card with a path that you derived from KnownFolders.RemovableDevices, the following methods behave in the following way.
Identifying the individual SD card
When the SD card is first mounted, the operating system generates a unique identifier for the card. It stores this ID in a file in the WPSystem folder at the root of the card. An app can use this ID to determine whether it recognizes the card. If an app recognizes the card, the app may be able to postpone certain operations that were completed previously. However the contents of the card may have changed since the card was last accessed by the app.
After you have installed SpyHunter, wait for it to update automatically.3. A new window will appear. After SpyHunter has finished scanning your PC for any files of the associated threat and found them, you can try to get them removed automatically and permanently by clicking on the âNextâ button. If any threats have been removed, it is highly recommended to restart your PC.Step 5 (Optional): Try to Restore Files Encrypted by Netflix was unable to collect a payment.Ransomware infections and Netflix was unable to collect a payment aim to encrypt your files using an encryption algorithm which may be very difficult to decrypt. After the update process has finished, click on the âMalware/PC Scanâ tab. Click on âStart Scanâ.4. Netflix remove payment method.
For example, consider an app that indexes ebooks. If the app has previously scanned the whole SD card for ebook files and created an index of the ebooks, it can display the list immediately if the card is reinserted and the app recognizes the card. Separately it can start a low-priority background thread to search for new ebooks. It can also handle a failure to find an ebook that existed previously when the user tries to access the deleted ebook.
The name of the property that contains this ID is WindowsPhone.ExternalStorageId.
